Stage Set-Up

           
            Have you ever thought of going to a concert but not knowing which one?! Well Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour 2011 is PERFECT! Her stage is set up with lots of candy props.....sort of like Candy Land. The performance is based on a story. She starts off as a butcher and then ends up in a cupcake shop. When she returns home and falls asleep her cat, Kitty Purry, goes missing. Soon  to follow Katy Perry wonders to follow and ends up on a path like the "Wizard of Oz" but with lots of candy. As she sings songs, the story goes on. All of the songs flow with the story.The show lasts about 3 hours. ENJOY!!! :D

NBA Lockout

This is unbelievable the NBA is keeping us fans from watching good games. This only happening over all the MONEY that the players and coches want!!! I think that they should get more cash but they get enough. What are we fans suppose to do if we can't watch our game becayuse or dumb reasons. The NBA is just money hungry and they can't just deserve to get what they want. This link will tell more about this problem.

Anne Frank

Well since we could pick ANY topic we wanted I of course chose Anne Frank, I want to give you some facts about life in hiding, and also my opinion on what happened to the Jews. Well first of all Anne Frank lived in a secret annex which was actually located in the middle of Amsterdam, at her fathers work. There were 8 people living there, they were Anne Frank, Margot Frank, Edith Frank, Otto Frank, Petronella Van Daan(Mrs.Van Daan) , Herman Van Daan(Mr.Van Daan) Peter Van Daan, and Albert Dussel. According to my research which by the way I have done a lot of research on Anne and basically the Holocaust in general. I am getting away from what I was going to say oh yes some information about the secret annex:Anne fell in love with Peter, of course Anne kept a diary and many might not know that Margot kept a diary as well except it was not found. If we had found her diary and had Anne's we would have had TWO points of views of life in hiding, but sadly we don't. Anyway Anne had trouble with her mother, but was very close to her father. The members of the secret annex were captured on August 4th 1944. Anne and Margot both died of typhus, Margot died first then Anne a few days later just a few weeks before their camp was liberated. Then Edith Frank died of exhaustion and starvation. Mrs.Van Daan collapsed and died on a brutal march. Mr.Van Daan was sent to the gas chambers and Peter watched his father leave and only to see his clothing come back. Peter died after a long march. Now Albert Dussel the way he died is unknown or at least I couldn't find. Otto Frank was the only of the 8 to survive. Stop Bullying!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!

One day i went to check my text messages and i got a forward hat almost made me cry. It was about a little girl who has cancer... well it was a little girl who had cancer talking about people who get bullied for reasons that if they knew they would seriously feel bad in side there was and old man who everyone called ugly when his face got seriously injured in a war FIGHTING for our country. How messed up is that the guy go's fights for our country get hurt really badly then comes back for everyone to come and call him ugly. Then she talks about another guy who every one call "fat" when he has a serious disease that causes him to be over weight, he didn't want the disease and he definitely did not want to be called fat by every one. Then she goes to talk about one more person but i don't think its appropriate to but on the internet. O.k. seriously I know what its like to be bullied and trust me its not o.k. what so ever. So all of those bullies out there I cant make you stop but please do. But this is for every one out there some people who get bullied never get over it. I have herd stories of people who got bullied committing suicide. Seriously if I was that bully I know that i would feel guilt so badly that i would probably send my self to jail. But all I need to say is seriously STOP it not cool.

Psycho Authors?........ That's Non-Sense

       Some people might say that Edgar Allan Poe is a crazy person because of his stories. Many other people say "that's non-sense" or "he's just writing about his life." There are many authors that write about disturbing topics but it doesn't mean they are a total psychopath. Mostly everyone says you can't judge a book by its cover and I also have an opinion that you can't judge an author by one of his disturbing stories. Just because you may not like them doesn't mean that many others don't. There are many of good, interesting stories that are very sad and disturbing like "Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allen Poe.

Poemeg awsome writer

I think Poe is an awesome genius if he is able to write these stories. They may seem scary but they're thrilling and fun.
Everyone in his life died cut him some slack. Most of my family loves Poe stories and so do I.
He cant be crazy crazy people can't write like he does.
He is awesome and so are his writings don't be a hater.
Read some of his stories like Hop Frog or Fall of the House of Usher.

Disturbed Author

I personally think that Edgar Allan Poe was a disturbed writer. I think that he wrote that way beacuase of what happened in his childhood. After marrying his cousin and having some family members die it screwd him up in the head very bad. He was a good writer but talk about weird, scary, and disturbing things but, he made see how his life was.

Edgar Allen Poe

Edgar Allen Poe in my opinion was a great author. He wasn't a crazy person he just had a rough childhood. So many people died that he probably felt lonesome all of his family member's. I think Poe is not some crazy person I think people think he's crazy because of the stories he writes about. Edgar Allen Poe writes about killing someone and death and pain. He only writes about that stuff because he had a terrible childhood his mother died and his wife died and his foster mother died from a terrible disease and when you have your family members die it is pretty depressing. So I think that Edgar Allen Poe was not crazy his stories are great and thrilling. I like Edgar Allen Poe and his stories.

Edgar Allen Poe...... What I Call Normal

So I have herd a million people call Edgar Allen Poe a psycho or weird or a maniac. But I think that he is totally normal.I mean judging on all of the things that happened in his life he has to let his anger out some were. Like when his wife was dieing he wrote a beautiful yet sad poem called "The Raven" And his short story "Masquerade of the Red Death" honestly sounds like the disease tuberculosis that killed most of the people in his life that he honestly cared about. And hoestly i tink of any good writer who has gone through all of that has gone through all of the thigs that he has gonr through plus being in a financial problem what is he suppose to do except do what he is so talented at WRITING DISTURBING STORIES . So in my opinion Edgar Allen Poe is not weird psycho or disturbed. Maybe a little SCARED, but not disturbed.

Edgar Allan Poe: Creepy or not????

Well since you asked my opinion I guess I am obligated to respond. OK so here is my amazing answer to your um well just plain question. So first I would like to state my opinion of this Edgar Allen Poe!!! I find him extremely CREEPY!!! I mean who marries your 12 year old COUSIN!!!! EWWW. OK getting away from the question so my answer is yes I think in order to write such disturbing stories you must be a little disturbed yourself. I mean I guess I can understand why he would be a little disturbed you know having everyone you care about die right in front of you of the SAME exact thing that's got to leave you with a little crazy. I do think it is fair to judge an author by his or her stories because that is just how people judge I suppose

Collage Question

I want to know what is the coolest collage mascot. I have thought long and hard about this and I just cant choose. I thought for myself the banana slug was, but Mr.Vega said it was the weirdest. So I'm going to surf the web (maybe wipe out a few times) to find the answer. Time to surf the internet, check this out. There are plenty of cool mascots comment on which one you think is the coolest. I'll be waiting and searching for the best. BANANA SLUG RULES FOREVER.

The College That Interest Me The Most

The question I had for college was that why does it have to be very expensive? College is very expensive nowadays because of the budget cuts. That's why some people drop out of high school because they get very stressed out with the college tuition and fees.So now I know why it is very expensive because of the budget cuts.Back in the old days college wasn't that expensive but now with the economy and the budgets cuts the colleges are getting really expensive. The college that I want to go to is a very big college and very popular. It is UCLA it caught my eye because on the options it carries and the classes it has. I was very impressed on how many people want to go to UCLA. But it is very expensive in UCLA it depends though if your living on campus it is about $31,200 and when your living off campus it is $28,400. So I don't know if or if I don't want to live on campus. Plus I will have to pay for my books and all my supplies. Anyway If I want to go to UCLA I will have to work really hard because every single grade counts now. That is so crazy on how colleges actually want you to pay over thousands of dollars just to go to there college. But hey they are really good colleges who provide you with good education, books, food, and classes. If you want to get a degree to work somewhere you will have to go to a really good college. Going to collage

I think that it is a good idea to start thinking about collage in junior high because you need time to prepare. Right now i am thinking of going to Full Sail University to learn game design and i plan on doing this by getting a scholarship(click here fo scholarship) and financial aid(click here for financial aid). Collage ...... Alerady!!!!!!!!! YES ALREADY!

Well i have been doing some research on my previous blog post "Collage ...Already!!!!!" and i found out why the junior high pushes students to prepare for collage before our grades start to affect which collage we get to and how at Frequently asked questions. The website states that it is never to late to decide that you want to go to collage and that most people wait until they have been out of high school for one or more years. BUT that if you decide that you want to go to collage in junior high that it helps you because you can spend your four years in high school to get all of the credits that you need for collage. Also you can figure out what you need to do to afford the collage such as financial aide student loans and even getting a job so you can afford to go there your self. I was also talking to my councilor and she had told me that it is best to try to get into accelerated classes during junior high so you can continue to be in it in high school because you have the potential to get a 5.0 instead of the regular high 4.0 it can help you because if you have straight A's in a regular class you get an average 4.0 which is still good but if a person with a 5.0 comes along most likely the person with the 5.0 will get a higher chance in getting in the collage. So all you junior high students crack open your books and get studying.

College Scholarships

There are many ways to get a college scholarships. I want to know how to get a scholarship? I have researched and there are many ways to get them. Like for example i would want to go to GeorgeTown for college. You can get a scholarship for academic and athletic reasons. I believe people may need a scholarship for college because of financial issues or any other reason. Maybe you can talk to your high school guidence counselor or look for a free scholarship online. The Cost of Living On the USC Campus

           Have you ever thought of going to college at USC and living there!? Well don't think that dorms or the tuition is free... because it's not. The dorms can range from $6,416 plus!!! There are many dorms on campus. All of them can hold about 6,000 people and more. But not everyone can live in their own some will have to share. It has additional fees for a non-sharable dorm. 

Claremont Mckenna

I chose the school Claremont Mckenna. I chose this school for my post because last year I attended this trip where we went to Claremont Mckenna and got a tour and learned about its history, and thanks to this trip I have my heart set on going there for college. I am getting off topic, oh yes the question ha ha now the question I chose was: What is living on campus like?? Of course I made it up but my answer to this is that according to their official website, it states that over 95% of their students live on campus, also its a fact that most of their students are on financial aide since most cant afford their prices. The dorms are suites, with a central bathroom, and four double rooms. Also CMC (Claremont Mckenna) has many clubs to join, they have their own radio station and newspaper, whatever your hobby is there is always a place for you in CMC. Their dining hall is called Collins Dining Hall. They serve three meals a day Monday-Friday and brunch and dinner on weekends. Also another benefit of CMC having sister schools is that you have 6 dining halls to choose from! Plus they have this club called: The Ath, they have many famous speakers such as Bill Clinton, Robert F. Kennedy, and Cynthia Cooper. As you can see this school seems to be really great.

How I Made The World A Better Place

Hello here is some feedback on how I made the world a better place. I picked up trash around my neighborhood and I went to a shelter and helped out helpless animals. My experience was really good it was a bit sad because seeing all the animals that are being mistreated out there it was pretty sad. After that I went to a homeless shelter and volunteered to give food out to the homeless I talked to some of them because they always need someone to talk to every once in a while. Next I got my friends involved on helping out we all did community service and picked up trash around the freeways, and around the most obvious places like the stores. After that we recycled cans and bottles and took them to a recycling place that was really cool. There was all this old junk there that was pretty old. It was a lot of fun that was the most coolest day ever. I look forward to doing this again to make the world a better place. Don't forget to turn off the lights when your not using them and don't take to long in the shower. STAY GREEN AND GO GREEN!!!!!!

My Outcome of the Rainbows and Unicorns

Well all my friends thought I was serious until the twentieth complement in the time amount of thirty minutes. So I realized you cant give like five hundred complements in one day. And giving random complements to people you don't really know is good it doesn't matter who you are giving the complement to it could make there day go along better. Unless they are mean freaks and tell you they don't really care then honestly they don't deserve complements they deserve some discipline from there parents or even anger management classes. So giving complements to my friends and even people I don't know made me feel like a nicer person.

Cleaning Up

It was a great experience helping my grandpa. I gave him cans and helped him get them in. I think this was a great way to help the world.

Saving The World One day At A Time

I will start by saving our earth by helping my grandpa recycle his cans. I will give him any cans i see or have and help him get his job finished. I will also go with him to turn in the cans to get him some extra $. Hopefully this might just be one stop in our journey to make the world a better place for us. We should all try to better ourselves to live in a clean society.

How my little project has been going

Well honestly I forgot the first day but I have already been telling people ALL about recycling and how they should recycle. I was telling my sister about my plans and you know what she said??? She said "Go tell someone who cares!" I was sooo offended I said "Well you SHOULD care and not put people who DO care down! If I wasn't so determined you could have just made me quit and then there would be one more person who doesn't help and there aren't many that WANT to help. I hope it was worth it to tell me that." I walked away satisfied knowing that I gave her something to think about. Oh also I went around the house with a bag and grabbed any recyclable trash and once it was full, I went and put it in the recycling bin! Also this weekend I am going to the recycling place with my dad to separate the bottles, I am ACTUALLY excited haha.

Cookies for The Homeless

In my previous blog, I made a commitment to make cookies for the homeless with my church because they NEEDED help and it was a perfect nice thing to do. As I was making the cookies I overheard the lady in charge talking to the janitor about how this room and kitchen was rented out for someone else. Once they finished talking I noticed that she was stressed because someone was going to get in trouble. Then the other group's leaders who rented the room out, came into the door and they looked shocked as if we trashed the kitchen. Out of politeness, we shared the kitchen and told them, "Once we are finished we will leave and the kitchen will be spotless." They understood what we were doing and let us finish. As we were finishing up, the WHOLE group arrived and we left. This is how my experiment went. Will I ever do it again? YES!

O.K so I was in class listing to my teacher talk about the class blog and he told us that our post for the week was to right a little plan on how to be a nicer person and make the world a better place. So i went to my friends and I asked them if I was a nice person....I was not expecting them to laugh. So I decided to make at least my friends think that I am a nice person. Wow now I wonder do they at least want nice friends seriously. So my plan is as simple as this.
1. I will use a more color in my personality and be as happy as unicorns and rainbows.
2. And last I will give them more compliments and maybe they will think of me as a nicer person .
But then again they might think that I was being sarcastic the whole time I will just never know until I try it.

What I CAN do to change the world!!!!

Well what I could do to HELP the world is to convince people to CARE!!!! Everyone is always saying I don't care about the environment and that its so BORING hearing about it, well you know what I say to that?? I say if you don't care get out of the way and let the people who DO care do what they do best saving the planet. There is sooo much we could do...what to start with??? Oh I know I could start with recycling, when I am at home I could separate the bottles, and papers and recycle it all!!! Yes that is what I am going to do. RECYCLING!!!!!!!

How I Would Make The World A Better Place

How I would can make the world a better place by not being a litterbug. Littering is really bad for the especially for the ocean because the ocean is very populated with animals. Like dolphins,sharks,fishes. I would sign up to help clean up the earth and I would help save endangered animals. I would clean up trash from around the world if I could go around the world. I would totally go around the world because the world is very important to me. That oil spill that happened I think it was a year ago. Our earth is dying because were treating it with so much disrespect. Nobody should be littering if you accidently litter then you should pick up after yourself. In my opinion everybody should pitch in a save the world from dying. That is why were getting crazy weather. And our atmosphere is in trouble because everybody on earth is treating it wrong. I would go out there and recycle bottles and pick up trash around the school. I would go out there and bust my butt out there for the earth. All I"m saying is people is your reading this and you litter and you are killing the earth Think about what your doing to the earth have a big heart and GO GREEN!!!!
