Dodgeball

This is a blog that is about a very serious matter, DODGE BALL! Yes the game many people love to play but there's a problem in certain schools dodge ball is being banned it's horrible.
Check this blog about it, crazy huh.
But dodge ball is a fun game and it's harmless.
And it teaches you how to dodge, catch, make strategies, and through better.
Maybe sometimes kids get hit but not all the time and when they do it barley hits them.
So do you see dodge ball is safe not a danger see this picture.

O.K. in my opinion dodge ball is a very fun game and that yeah it can be dangerous. But the teacher are suppose to be there watching the children making sure that the students are playing fair. Also most oft the students that hurt people and are in the "i am everything mode", don't deserve to be in the game seriously! But i dont think that the sportswriter Rick Reilly shouldn't of wrote that article making fun of the people who are against dodge ball. A little one sided if you ask me. But when i read the"wall of shame" i was like really those game show idiotic is that. I mean duck..duck.. goose, or a game as nonviolent as Simon says. Really what sissy's seriously. I am not going to go all "Rick Reilly" on you but come on seriously just click on the wall of shame hyper link up there towards the begging of the post and see exactly why you would think that in some cases they are acting stupid about it.

Should Dodgeball Be Banned From Schools

I think dodgeball should be banned because it influences other kids to think its okay to hit others with a ball. Some kids throw like beast, meaning that they throw really hard. Kids come home with bruises and scratches on there arms, legs, and faces. My experience was when I was playing dodgeball someone threw it super-duper hard at my face and I came home with a black eye. Let me tell you my mom wasn't to happy with it. So you see dodgeball can be very dangerous. It also make the weaker players less confident, and the most skilled are the most confident. That is so not right because everybody should have confidence when there playing a game. It is not right to teach kids that you win by hurting others. THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! You win by doing your best not by hurting others. Dodgeball is a inappropriate sport and should be banned from all schools. Dodge-ball should NOT be taken from our P.E Curriculum

I believe that dodge-ball is being blown WAY out of proportion. I mean it is a fun and active game, I can understand why adults overreact on this silly issue. IT IS JUST A GAME, everyone thinks it is such an evil game and that it implies so many different things well guess what it DOES NOT!!!! I can not stress how annoying and unbelievable this issue is, it is a fun indoor or outdoor activity. Also if bullying is the case then you can man up and finally get him or her back. I can honestly say plain and simple STOP OBSESSING over a elementary school activity!!!! I am sorry but I can not get over why it is such a big issue. I suppose I will never know

Don't Ban Dodgeball

Look alot of people and articles are saying that dodgeball should be banned.Why? Theywan't it banned because they think it;s dangerous and helps lower our self-esteems. Dodgeball is a great game and is played all around the world. For crying out loud people used to play that game with a HUMAN HEAD! I like dodgeball as a sport but, alot of little kids don't because their scared about a round red rubber ball hitting them.

Sure dodgeball may cause some injuries but, u gotta suck it up and play the game and stop hiding in the shadows. I used to ove playing this game in elementary school but, now I don't see it that much played in junior highs. I know alot of thesepeople want to ban this sport but, this might change our minds. I love dodgeball and I don't want to see it be banned no matter how many injuries happen.

 

The Debate on Banning Dodge Ball

Dodge Ball and other sorts of ball throwing games might be banned from schools. I think they are inappropriate for any sort of Physical Education in elementary schools, junior high or middle schools, and high schools. It just shows kids that it is 100% okay to hit a fellow peer and laugh at it and feel like your a winner because you hurt someone either severely or even just a minor scratch.

It is not okay to teach kids about violence. In some schools which this is okay, they play Murder Ball or Red Rover. Some of the kids that are hurt get made fun of.It is not okay and many WON'T ALLOW IT TO BE PLAYED IN THEIR CHILD'S SCHOOL!!!!

Being a game designer

I have always wanted to be a game designer but never really looked into it. So  decided to research it and found out how to be a good video game designer and even found some tips on it.

I found out that you need to be creative and think of your own ideas. i also learned that you don't need to power through making the game because you may mess up and not be able to fix it. This is bad because if you screw up the game then when you present it you may get in trouble.

 Also if you don't know math or how to write code then you cant design a game at all. This is because there is a bunch of equations and code that go into a game to make it work.
